摘要：

This meeting regarding some solutions proposed to the problems encountered in the installation of level crossings opened with a presentation of a paper dealing with the need for condition monitoring of level crossings. The next paper looked at the civil engineering problems associated with the installation and maintenance of level crossings. The final session enabled four principal proprietary UK deck unit suppliers to discuss their products and design philosophy.
