摘要
Sustainable development goals (SDG) have included poverty dimensions as important issues to address. This year's noble prize in economics provides enough indications on the growing importance of poverty management and the ways poverty could be analyzed with perspectives. In this work, it is argued that poverty has various dimensions to deal with and collective community orientation to manage their own problems through self-governance is a plausible approach for sustainable development goals. Evidence from rural India, a developing country and emerging economy in the world, has showcased this effort. India is an agrarian country with a farmer-centric business. Farmer groups collectively have shown the way their marginal production systems could be aggregated and manage through self-governance systems. To propel this effort further, the role of rural e-governance is perhaps more important. A case of such collective farmer producer community is taken up for presenting their efforts, the role of rural e-governance to get connected to various e-governance services and assessing the way towards sustenance.
