摘要
A model is proposed to simulate the filtration process for a flat fabric filter. In contrast with previous models, the proposed model provides a new expression for the residual dust distribution on the filter, and the cleaning performance of a fabric filter in which dust accumulation on the surfaced and inside the filter is considered. The pressure drop through the fabric filter during the filtration process can be simulated by the model, and the filter performance can also be described and predicted. Simulation results are compared with experimental data, and it is shown that the simulations agree well with the measured changes in pressure drop, and the filtration cycle time for a filtration process.
