High-speed transceiver network for in-vehicle communication system

摘要
This paper introduces key advantages of high-speed data network presented in [1] for automotive communication system. The proposed channel topology employed point-to point (P2P) interconnection to overcome the limited channel bandwidth of conventional FlexRay system. In addition, the sharing of clock in the master electronic control unit (ECU) with local ECUs enabled by closed clock channel topology has enhanced timing accuracy in time-domain multiplexing (TDM) system. The proposed transceiver network achieved 2.5Gb/s data rate at 1.8V power supply. The worst data and clock jitter over 5000 symbols were 49.6ps and 10.7ps respectively.
