摘要
The electric field tomography is new technique for bio-impedance imaging enabling contact-less investigation of the human body. While studied theoretically and verified in preliminary experiments, it was not implemented in the full tomographic measuring system yet. The design of measuring system for the electric field tomography (EFT) with linear planar arrangement of the electrodes is presented in the report. The system is intended for usage both in medical and security applications. The transmitting and measuring electronics, mechanical arrangement of the system are described. The results of numerical 3D simulation of the system are compared with the experimental data. Further development of the measuring system, data collection and processing algorithms are discussed.
