摘要
In this work, nanostructure cadmium chloride (CdCl2) thin films, were prepared by vacuum thermal evaporation technique on glass substrates at room temperature. The Energy band gap were deduced by UV spectrophotometer and it was 2.25 eV for the pure film at 500 nm from the range of wavelength and it was 2.48 eV at the same position from the wavelength when the film had been doped by 0.06%Ag. Thereafter, many of optical properties were studied by the same instrument, the absorbance factor was thus ensure that the gap has allowed transmission, also the structure properties were customize by X-ray diffraction pattern which told us that the film has polycrystalline structure with (1 0 1) orientation. The grain size of particles were and the average of diameter was (68.72 nm) according to the analysis of AFM pictures. (C) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
