摘要
Summarized are freely accessible InterNet server-client tools for: (i) functional pattern recognition, (ii) secondary structure and solvent accessibility prediction, (iii) analysis of evolutionary information contained in multiple sequence alignments, (iv) identifying proteins by the set of peptide fragments produced by specific digestion. Principles and scope of methods implemented in these servers are compared. A hypertext version of this review is available at http://www.chem.msu.su/eng/group/proanal.html.
