Interlayer phase coherence and dissipative soliton-lattice regime in bilayer quantum Hall systems

摘要
Recent experimental data indicate that, along with the well-developed Hall plateau, the diagonal resistivity (R-xx) emerges as an anomalous peak when the parallel magnetic field B-parallel to crosses over a certain critical value B-parallel to*, in the bilayer quantum Hall system at v = 1. We propose the soliton lattice scenario explaining this phenomenon. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
