摘要
Ethernet is becoming increasingly popular in Office Automation. Such advantages as high-speed transmission and convenient connection that make us realize that expand and extend its application to workshop and even automatic control equipments. This paper begins with a discussion about the performance between Ethernet and Fieldbus, followed by the solution to the key problem, which applies Ethernet to workshop and device level. Finally, an information system based on Industrial Ethernet in manufacturing enterprises is presented, which makes Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Planning and Production networked and interoperated. It promotes enterprises to incorporate with the supply chain in the whole globe.
