Experimental investigation in heat transfer of triangular and pin fin arrays

摘要
The experiments were conducted with triangular and pin fin array at constant heat flux. Nu is determined as a function of Re-max at Pr = 0.7 for both sets of experiments. For each fin array, an equation is obtained to determine Nu as a function of Re,, using experimental results. These regressions are accurate within the accuracy of the measurements (+/- 15%) at Re-max ranging between 100 and 700.
