Making a Doorway in the Structures of 1900 Style Buildings

As a representation of the content and the architectural form, the universal-artistic current ART NOUVEAU was, in the evolution of human societies creation, the result of interrelation between the constructive solution, the function and plastic expression in architecture programs. This concept was recognized as universal by the Belgian group "Les Vignts" and it has naturally entered in all European settlements from the late nineteenth century, among which the city Oradea on the Crisu Repede river was part of. An intervention on one of those existing buildings so-called Varnai Villa is presented in this paperwork, revealed the model for collective housing functions in 1900 and not least the resistance of the structure used as a typology in that time.
