摘要
Time-resolved experiment of the A2Π and B2Σ states of SrH by laser spectroscopy was studied. The strontium hydride molecules were produced in a small reactor by heating metallic strontium in an atmosphere of hydrogen to a temperature around 1100 K. The pressure was varied in the furnace between 0.01 mbar and 25 mbar, and was carefully controlled by several calibrated pressure devices. The delayed coincidence method was used and laser excitations were applied. Stern-Vollmer plots were constructed and the extrapolated zero-pressure lifetimes were determined. Time-resolved experiments are a valuable tool for measuring the individual rotational lines regarding their radiative lifetimes, in the study of perturbations between molecular states, which is complementary to the spectroscopic studies of interactions between rotational levels. Time-resolved methods have also been applied in the study of the alkaline earth monohalides in a large number of experiments.
