摘要
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) workflow using the "end-to-end" approach, i.e. following, with the aid of a semi-anthropomorphic thorax phantom, the pathway of a real patient, from imaging to dose delivery. Patient-specific quality assurance (PSQA) measurements were performed with a 2D array, followed by point dose measurements with an ionization chamber in different locations into the phantom: the planning target volume (PTV) and organs at risk (OARs). The combined standard uncertainties associated with point dose measurements were calculated. The results revealed a high quality of IMRT clinical implementation.
