摘要
The present article analyzes the shielding effectiveness of coated, laminated and nested shields. For wavelengths which are long compared with the shield dimensions, a two dimensional analytical solution for arbitrary cross sections is derived considering skin effects. The application of the method to three dimensional shields results in good approximations, apart from appreciable errors in the edges. Further, a transmission line model is presented. Different examples of combinations of non magnetic and magnetic materials are discussed in detail. Finally, the potential of material savings by multiple shields is investigated.
