摘要
The S 19 family of guidance systems for sounding rocket experiments has received yet another member, the S19L. The size and shape of the new system and its canards are unchanged, though the total weight and power consumption have decreased. No changes have been made to the pneumatic parts, including the pneumatically driven servos. The S19L is a fourth generation guidance, navigation and control system for sounding rockets and similar vehicles. It is based upon the well-known and widely used LN200 strap-down inertial measurement system. Processing of the LN200 incremental rate and acceleration outputs takes place in a compact Guidance Processing Unit, which is also a component that is uniquely used in the S19L. The electrical power distribution unit has been modernized, and re-designed for improved communication with the new hardware.
