摘要
A ratio-dependent decomposition model and a difference-dependent decomposition model were built in this article to study the future trend of China's energy intensity. Based on some major industrial sectors' energy consumption data over the period 1997-2005 and 2005-2013, those two models were used to analyze empirically how China's energy intensity has been changed during the time, how the driving factors and differences of such changes has been explained. In addition, six industrial sectors that have shown the most significant yield effect and intensity effect were figured out according to the impact factors of the previous decomposition analysis, and the potential best industrial path to further decline of China's energy intensity in the future has been suggested accordingly.
