摘要
In this study, the detection of weld defects was investigated and performed a quantitative evaluation using signal processing on the subsurface of vehicle coating by infrared thermography nondestructive testing. As a test method, an optic-infrared thermography technique was used to amplify the signal through external optical energy excitation of the thermal infrared energy emitted from an object, and to quantitatively detect the amount of an infrared thermal energy. In addition to the qualitative data analysis projected with an imaging from this study, advanced vision technology for quantitatively profiling the thermal response signal was applied, and the thermal characteristics of the signal response contrast mechanism was evaluated through data processing. As results the quantitative evaluation results according to the welding defect conditions of the vehicle coating subsurface are presented.
