摘要
This research focuses on the effectiveness of vocal learning using the drill method to improve the musical ability of students in Yogyakarta State University. The research aims to determine the effectiveness of the drill method in improving 23 vocal students' musical ability by using an experimental research method. The result shows a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class, which was treated with the drill method, improved its musical ability, while the control class showed no improvement. The result of the multivariate homogeneity test in the experimental group and the control group in the post-test with Box's M reached a value of 3.308, an F value of 1.063, and a significance value of 0.363, which is above 0.001.
