摘要
The capacity loss in battery determines the remaining capacity of battery with end of life of battery. So, change in capacity loss must be regulated at desired rate along with energy to be stored on battery. In this paper, real time receding horizon control scheme is suggested to predict optimal charging/discharging operations of battery energy storage system (BESS) for the future time horizon. In this control scheme, the BESS is to maintain desired rate of change of capacity loss and to store desired energy during all prediction horizon. A performance index based on error dynamics is proposed in receding horizon control scheme and optimal feedback control actions are generated to minimize the performance index for whole prediction horizons. The effectiveness of proposed scheme is tested on data available of assumed microgrid.
