Recent preliminary results based on 58 million J/psi events collected at the upgraded BESII axe presented. The Partial Wave Analysis of the J/psi --> gammaK (K) over bar and J/psi --> gammapi(+)pi(-) in the mass region below 2.0 GeV for study of the structure around 1.7 GeV is reported. The mass of eta(c) is measured in five J/psi decay channels. This talk also includes the search for some interesting states.
