摘要
This paper proposes an analytical method of the power supply-demand situation awareness based on the classification of action levels for balancing supply and demand over the consideration period such as annual, monthly, weekly, and daily. The proposed method can analyze the severity of supply-demand situation by defining action levels to balance supply and demand. The severity of the supply-demand situation is evaluated by using the imbalance between supply and demand in real-time operation as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The aim is to analyze the supply-demand situation based on KPIs in the massive integration of Variable Renewable Energy (VRE), and to evaluate the effectiveness of various flexible capacities such as variable speed pumped-storage hydropower, VRE control and wide-area operation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified based on its application to potential evaluation of various measures in east Japan three area system model around 2030.
