摘要
Hybrid theoretical modeling is a modern tool for theoretical study of complex plasma and gas discharge physical systems. In this paper hybrid simulation combines two-dimensional liquid (hydrodynamic) and one-dimensional kinetic simulation. Hydrodynamic simulation is conducted in terms of two-moment model, while the kinetic modeling is based on the direct numerical solution of the kinetic Boltzmann equation for the fast electron component. The numerical simulation has been performed on the example of the diode with a plane-grid cathode system that was previously studied in series of experiments.
