摘要：
Cyclocondensation of 2-aminothiophenol and various aryl/heteryl aldehydes was carried in polyethylene glycol-400 as a catalyst and reaction medium at room temperature to obtain 2-aryl substituted benzothiazoles with excellent yields. [GRAPHICS] .
