摘要:
Brain arterio-venous malformations (BAVM) are thought to be of congenital origin. The myriad clinical presentations of BAVM range from being clinically silent, subarachnoid haemorrhage, seizures, headache, and hemiparesis. Around 1 percent of unprovoked seizures are caused due to BAVM. We present a case of 40-year-old female who presented to us with status epilepticus for the first time in life and eventually was diagnosed as a case of brain arterio-venous malformation in left parietal hemisphere.
