摘要
High-voltage electrical burns are devastating injuries with a high mortality rate. We report a case in which a 10-year-old boy suffered a major electrical burn injury to his arm, chest wall, and abdomen after contact with an 11,000-volt transformer. The massive defect was successfully reconstructed using a pedicled total forearm and hand fillet-flap. To the authors' knowledge, this is the first report in the literature using such a reconstructive method in this form of injury.
