摘要：
Rasbora dies, new species, is distinguished by its unique colour pattern (a reticulated pattern on the anterior part of the flank, a small diamond-shaped blotch at middle of base of caudal fin), and a complete lateral line. It is presently known only from Tarakan Island, along the coast of Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia.
