摘要
Compressed liquid densities for DMF and for CO2 (1) + DMF (2) binary mixtures are reported from (313 to 363) K and up to 25 MPa. Densities were measured for binary mixtures at nine different compositions, x(1)= 0.2618, 0.2876, 0.4068, 0.4268, 0.4461, 0.4502, 0.6235, 0.8091, and 0.9311. There are no experimental density data concerning CO2 + DMF mixtures reported in the literature. The estimated uncertainty is +/- 0.20 kg center dot m(-3) for the experimental compressed liquid densities. Densities of DMF were correlated with the Benedict-Webb-Rubin-Starling equation of state (BWRS EoS) and the Tait equation. A five-parameter equation was used to correlate the experimental densities of DMF and CO2 + DMF mixtures. Excess molar volumes were determined using DMF densities calculated from the BWRS EoS and CO2 densities calculated from the Span-Wagner EoS.
