Study of volatilisation of pesticides from soil under laboratory conditions

摘要：
A Volatilisation Chamber (V.C.) technique has been developed in order to assess the volatilisation of exploratory pesticides from soil. Five commercial pesticides were selected as reference compounds on the basis of their known differences in physical properties profiles to evaluate the V.C. methodology. Overall. the results obtained were consistent with literature observations in terms of the influence of pesticide physical properties and soil/air properties on volatilisation from soil.
