摘要
From centuries, a substantial growth has been there in the field of multi-phase variable-speed motor drives and in particular, the multi-phase machines. Number of work have been reported widely by many researches in literature on multi-phase induction machine. Those reported works utilize the vector space decomposition technique, which cope up with the inherent asymmetries of the drive and has two sets of winding spatially shifted by 30 electrical degrees with isolated neutral points. In this paper, a low cost method to analyses the performance of control strategy which does not require a physical machine is proposed. Instead of the physical machine, a model of the machine implemented in DSP processor is utilized here. The field oriented control of a six phase machine has been implemented in the same DSP processor and interfaced with the motor model. In the proposed method, the performance of both the simulation and hardware results is compared.
