摘要
The coordinated development of the Ecology Social-Economy (ESE) system is an eternal topic of academic discussion. In this paper, the comprehensive evaluation index system and coupling coordination degree model of the Pearl River Delta (PRD) urban agglomerations are constructed, and the degree of coupling and coordination between ESE systems and the evolution process of the PRD urban agglomerations from 2007 to 2019 are analyzed. The results show that: (1) During 2007-2019, the ESE system of PRD urban agglomerations has a rising trend. Among them, the ecological system shows a volatile upward trend. The social system first rises rapidly, then declines slightly, and then rises slowly. While the economic system has always maintained a rapid upward trend. (2) The overall degree of coupling and coordination between ESE systems in PRD urban agglomerations has increased year by year, but their spatial distribution shows certain differences. Shenzhen has the highest degree of coupling and coordination, followed by Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan and Zhuhai. (3) The coordinated relationship between the development speed of the ecological-society, ecological-economic, and social-economic systems of the PRD urban agglomeration has stabilized after 2016. However, the scissors difference in the growth rate between systems still needs to be further adjusted.
