摘要
Eimeriosis is the most important parasitic infection in poultry worldwide and 5 p it also causes problems in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses and rabbits (Kreier and Baker, 1987). Clinical coccidiosis in goats is most frequently caused by-E.-arlaffig-1 (Sayin et al., 1997) and E. ninakohli-yakimovae (Yvore et al., 1985). There have been some studies on caprine coccidiosis in Turkey. In these studies the Eimerian oocysts have been found in the faeces of 94.8% of 147 goats (Guler et al., 1990), 53.3% of 353 goats (Deger et al., 2003). This study was conducted to determine the prevalence and intensity of Eimeria species in goats in Hakkari province in Turkey.
