摘要
This paper presents the (CIEL) Collaborative Interactive E-learning framework that acknowledges roles of lecturers, technicians and students in the design process of e-Learning. The framework includes recognized successful factors from current studies, and elements that lessen design challenges. Technology is becoming more essential in learning with the growth of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that brought E-learning to practice. Existing literature identifies Critical Successful Factors (CSFs) for E-learning implementation, such as course development and interactive learning. Furthermore, other studies carried out investigation of E-learning barriers interestingly; few papers refer to unapplied successful factors as challenges. These include but are not limited to: assessment, learner support, and training. This paper proposes a collaborative interactive E-learning framework that is built adopting successful factors from the literature review as well as elements to overcome some challenges found in existing studies. This framework aims to aid implementation of E-learning integrating lecturers, technicians and students. For Future work, an evaluation of the framework from lecturers and E-learning technicians in higher education institutes (HEI) will be pursued.
