摘要
The effect of piers can not be ignored in research of lateral vibration problems of railway-bridges while it brings influences on the safety of trains and the comfort of passengers. It is necessary to establish an effective and easy method to consider the effect of piers on lateral vibration performance of railway bridges under running trains at the phase they are still being designed. For this purpose, a calculation model based on the collected pier data is established to analyze the lateral vibration characteristics of pier in this paper. The influencing factors of both the lateral natural frequency and the amplitude of the piers under running trains are investigated.
