Mechanical behavior of polymer specimens subjected to alternate cyclic loading

A method for recovering dimensions and properties and for relieving residual stress in specimens of viscoelastic materials subjected to multiple testing under cyclic loading conditions is described. Two methodological variants are considered by which the specimen can recover size after testing for creep under conditions that allow one to vary the time of mechanical action and "recovery" of the specimen within a single conditioning cycle of specified duration.
