Neural Network Lightning Prediction Method Based on Doppler Weather Radar

摘要
A neural network-based method is used to predict the lightning for the thunderstorm with the Doppler weather radar data. Cloud-to-ground lightning data from the Lightning Location System of Hunan province, and the Doppler weather radar-derived products in Changsha station are used to train the network. The Doppler weather radar derived-products: reflectivity, VIL, echo top heights are considered as the forecasting factors to build the prediction model of the neural network for predicting the lightning of the area of Changsha.
