The late cycle of globalization has caused the development of a large movement contesting the liberal orientation. This has lead to the WSF which tends to limitate the liberal aspects of the globalization. This movement is based on the globalization and on the radicalized middle classes. We find here the basic differences with the traditional internationalism coming from the working class movement. These differences are very important but it is still possible to imagine common goals and common fights. Some will prefer to have a role on the world level but some consider the national territory is still the place where people's sovereignty can be realized and have legitimity.
