摘要
Manganese zinc ferrite (MnZnFe2O4) was prepared using co-precipitation technique. The synthetic technique involved the co-precipitation of iron (Fen, manganese (Mn2+) and zinc (Zn2+) ions from aqueous solutions using NaOH base under microwave and conventional heating. The synthesised particle was characterised using XRD and particle size was determined using the Sheffer formula. The XRD patterns showed close resemblance with the original patterns. Microwave-assisted heating system showed better and immediate formation of ferrites nanoparticles as compared to conventional heating system. In view of promising efficiency, the use of microwave heating is suggested for the synthesis of Mn Zn ferrite.
