Implementation of a Buck converter with hysteresis voltage control applied to LED chip array package for street lighting

摘要
LED chip array technology, better known as LCAP, is dominating the market for public luminaires and reflectors because it has high luminous efficiency and low cost in a single component. The DC-DC converter technology will have to adapt to bring this component to good operating conditions, considering that these converters can control the luminous flux and ensure a good life for the system. One way to guarantee this is the use of low-value capacitors in the design of the converter, adopting a biphasic supply at its input and using a voltage hysteresis control to achieve control of the luminous flux emitted by the LCAP. The results of this implementation can be observed throughout this study, approaching methodologies for the complete design of the system based on simulations and experimental results.
