Unknown pages in the history of Baku State University

This work examines the dramatic events that broke out at the beginning of 1938 in the Azerbaijan State University (ASU), which almost caused a new wave of repression in the main educational institution of the Republic. The conflict and confrontation between the rector and the party organization of ASU, which consisted entirely of teachers and senior students of the faculty of History, finally went beyond the educational establishment and became the subject of proceedings in the Central Committee of the CP (b) of Azerbaijan with the participation of its first Secretary M.J. Bagirov.
