摘要
We investigated the relationships between the planning and organizing, problem solving, support and consideration, and development and mentoring dimensions of shared leadership and team performance and satisfaction. Fifty-six teams of undergraduate students (229 individuals) comprising three to eight members each performed either an action, creativity, or decision-making task. The relationship-oriented dimensions of shared leadership (support and consideration, development and mentoring) were positively related to satisfaction across all three tasks. Only support and consideration was related to performance across the three tasks. Task-oriented shared leadership (planning and organizing, problem solving) was positively related to satisfaction for the decision-making task. For the action task, both task-oriented and relationship-oriented shared leadership were related to satisfaction.
