摘要：
The external post-mortem examination of an elderly woman revealed suspicious stab wounds of unknown origin to the legs. Subsequent investigations identified them as being the result of using the EZ-IOA (R) Power driver for an intraosseous access during resuscitation. For the post-mortem examiner it is important to know the morphology of injuries caused by intraosseous puncture in order to interpret and distinguish them from injuries due to physical abuse (e.g. stab wounds).
