摘要
Under 254 nm irradiation in chloroform, bis(2,4-pentanedionato)copper(II) is converted to CuCl.2HCl. from which CuCl precipitates at concentrations of 10(-3) M or higher. The photoreaction appears to be completely solvent-initiated, that is, the rate depends on the fraction of light absorbed by the solvent. Both . CCl3 radicals and HCl, produced photolytically, are able to initiate the reaction. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
