Surface magnetostatic spin waves in 2D magnonic crystals

摘要：
Propagation of magnetostatic surface spin waves through ferromagnetic films with 2D surface periodic structures is studied. The dispersion-frequency dependences of the wave number are found for typical parameters of specific structures and various magnetic-field intensities inside ferrite. It is shown that there exist forbidden zones in the microwave range. The changes in both the widths and number of forbidden zones observed in the presence of a variable external magnetic field are revealed.
