Globalization from the perspective of comparative educational science

摘要
With regard to comparative ecucation, globalization, which may be described in System-theoretical and action-theoretcial terms, has led to a shifting of the subject of research towards world-society-related units of analysis. With the focusing on topics of globalization, however, there has not been a change in paradigms neither in the reform-related discourse nor in the theoretical discourse of comparative education. Still, new configurations of theory and reform as well as new accentuations are to be noticed on both sides.
