摘要
Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) have developed as an emerging technology,for intelligent transportation with a number of applications that may have significant impact on the society. VANET provide comfort and safety message to the people in the vehicle itself in traffic jam as well as in the disaster prone areas. Health monitoring through VANET is one of the emerging applications under information and communication technologies for improving communication between medical professionals and patients. This technique can be improved to monitor patients using wireless body sensor network (WBSN) by sending the personal health information (PHI) to the healthcare center through VANET. The use of WBSN has increased considerably Or patient monitoring which offers flexibility and mobility to patients. In this paper, we have proposed a model for health monitoring system with the use of WBSN, mobile communication and VANET. This model is used to provide high quality healthcare and immediate response to patient in emergency situations in urban and disaster prone area.
