Effect of the dual-driving method for UXGA series low-temperature poly-Si TFT-LCDs

摘要
We have developed a 38.1-cm (15-in.) and a 26-cm (10.4-in.) diagonal size UXGA low-temperature poly-Si (LTPS) TFT-LCD. We have accomplished this using both the selection-switch circuit and the dual-drive technique to overcome the decrease of the charging period and the increase of the time-constant of bus-lines. The dual-driving technique is effective to keep the uniformity of display quality. Measurement results and simulated results are in good agreement. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
