摘要
2,3,5,6-Tetrakis-(morpholinomethyl)hydroquinone (TMMH) is used first time to prepare spherical silver nanoparticles by the reduction of Silver nitrate (AgNO3) in water-ethanol medium without using any stabilizing and capping agent. The compound (TMMH) was isolated by aminomethylation of hydroquinone with morpholine. The resultant compound characterized by 1H NMR, C-13 NMR and FT-IR Spectra for conformation studies. The ratio of AgNO3 and compound (TMMH) played role in controlling the particle size and shape of silver nanoparticles. The formation of the silver nanoparticles was observed in UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy.
