摘要：
The paper presents a computer program for the (x) over bar and s control chart with variable sample size. This type of control chart for variables uses the means of the samples for controlling the process average and the standard deviations of the samples for controlling the process variability. The program was developed in MS Excel 2007 and VBA for Excel 2007 and can be used in plant practice as a Computer Aided Quality tool. The program is developed so that users do not have to possess computer programming knowledge.
