摘要
Future IoT-related applications will require a large number of various sensors and although many capable protocols exist, chipless RFID technology could be a viable, battery-less alternative in certain situations whilst simultaneously supporting low-cost fabrication requirements. This work builds upon a previous work by adding a reference resonance within the original strain sensor design that can be used for compensation of the combined effects caused by temperature, humidity and other such variables. The implemented sensor demonstrates both strain (8.638MHz/%epsilon) and permittivity sensing capabilities and should be suitable for use with a variety of different substrate configurations.
