摘要
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) can improve health, safety and quality of human life through its applications in various domains. Generally, sensors are deployed randomly in the specific area of interest. However, there are certain cases, where optimal design should be considered taking into account the network infrastructure limitations and application-specific requirements. When all design issues are considered, then the problem of optimal design becomes multi-criteria choice that makes the design process difficult. In this paper, we propose to formulate the design of WSN as a fuzzy model, and perform the integrated assessment on the acceptability of design solutions based on fuzzy sets. We also demonstrate the results of fuzzy modeling for solving a multi-criteria choice network problem for a real-life WSN.
